DON’T YOU THINK YOU NEED A COAT?

24 × 20 in | Acrylic on canvas | 2026

Country: Jamaica

A little winter logic, or lack of it.

Don’t You Think You Need a Coat? captures the playful stubbornness and freedom of childhood, when being properly dressed for the weather is apparently somebody else’s problem.

Whimsical and humorous, this painting embodies the spirit of Snow Birds: finding something joyful in the middle of winter.
